Simple Robbery - Minnesota Statute 609.24

Simple robbery occurs when property is taken:

or in the presence of another

by means of force

or the threat of force

​First Degree Aggravated Robbery

Whoever commits a robbery armed with a dangerous weapon, or something used or fashioned in a manner to lead the victim to reasonably believe it to be a dangerous weapon, or inflicts bodily harm upon another, is guilty of aggravated robbery in the first degree.
First degree robbery is a felony and punishable by up to 20 years in prison and/or a fine of $35,000.
